James Kasperek is a successful and award winning American artist who will soon be showing and selling in his first major show in England alongside Julie. Beneath the Same Sky is going to be held at Highhead sculpture valley in June. James and Julie will be showing up to 25 paintings each in this eagerly awaited show of new paintings. James was Born in Detroit, Michigan in 1955. He was educated at the Columbus College of Art and Design, Columbus, Ohio, and the Centre for Creative Studies, College of Art in Detroit, Michigan, where he majored in painting and drawing.
James has enjoyed working in numerous mediums over the years including graphite, coloured pencil, watercolour and oil, but has focused primarily on soft pastel for the past 10 years. He predominantly considers himself a landscape artist. James strives to capture the gesture of a moment with the deliberate strokes and strong colour.
James Kasperek has been asked to show work on the Saachi website and is already in demand in the UK.
